Performance with John Malkovich, ballet with Natalya Osipova, comedy Four Sisters, two weeks at the castle, 4 trucks with a tribune and surface protection, 5 trucks with stage and technical equipment. That’s how we could sum up the second half of July, which we spent in the Archbishop’s Palace and Gardens in Kroměříž. We built a giant tribune for almost two thousand visitors in the immediate vicinity of the castle in a garden listed on the UNESCO. How giant, you ask? 64 meters wide, 24 meters deep and 12.5 meters in the highest row. Building the stage and the tribune in the historic park brought limitations in addition to the beautiful surroundings. One truck was only loaded with park surface protection, which we laid down to protect the park and not drive the mechanization onto the grass outside the aluminum panels.
