Let It Roll 2025

Let It Roll 2025: A New Venue, New Challenges, and a New Era for the Festival

This year, construction started early—on July 3rd—and it was immediately clear that this edition would be exceptional. Not just in terms of content, but also in the infrastructure behind it. Let It Roll moved to a completely new location, which meant starting entirely from scratch.

No infrastructure, no “known place”. Just a gravel bed, the laying of 84 panels and a lot of ground work, which was not without complications. The terrain was subsiding, subsoil had to be reinforced, heavy equipment had to be coordinated, including a 70 tonne crane with a 50 metre boom.
All of this was part of the build for Genesis Stage – the main stage of the entire festival:
  • 4 trucks of scaffolding
  • 3 trucks of equipment
  • 1 truck of set decorations

The stage design was created for the third year in a row in collaboration with Dutch studio 360 Show Design, pushing the limits of stagecraft and visual storytelling. The result? A monumental Genesis, which this year redefined the face of Let It Roll. For the first time ever, the festival kicked off on Thursday.

Thank you to everyone who was part of it – from the first sketch to the last pallet loaded out.

A big thank you to the festival itself for being a part of it since 2015, and to our suppliers including Hight Lite Touring for their top-notch technical support and ROBE for their lighting arsenal: 20 iBolts and 20 WTF! lights that gave Genesis its signature look.
