2025 IIHF Women’s Ice Hockey World Championship

Almost exactly one year after the men’s hockey championship in Prague, we have again embarked on a big hockey event – this time the women’s world championship in České Budějovice. And it was no small production.

We spent a total of 24 days on-site – 9 days for the build and 3 days for dismantling. Ten national teams participated in the tournament, and we had to prepare full facilities for players, media, technical crews, and fans.

Every available dressing room and space in the arena was used, and even that wasn’t enough – so we built an extensive outdoor production area. We brought in 38 containers, set up a 25 × 10 meter VIP pagoda tent, another of the same size for a gym/warm-up area, and two large media tents.
For the TV broadcast, we set up a TV compound with four large OB vans and ran kilometers of cable across the venue. Just the site materials took up several truckloads – including 300 tall fences, portable toilets, and container restrooms.
The reward for this logistically demanding production? Fantastic feedback, near-record attendance for a women’s championship – and a well-deserved 4th place for the Czech national team. for the Czech national team.
